Boyd & Associates offers reliable burglar, hold-up and fire alarm monitoring, 24 hours a day, seven days a week from our Central Station monitoring facility. When a response is called for, Boyd & Associates' Central Station dispatchers are trained to make the proper responses, right when you need them. Within seconds of an intrusion, or first trace of smoke, our dispatchers will notify the police or fire department. This immediate response can turn a potential major catastrophe into a close call.

Boyd & Associates also offers Alarm Response Service by our uniformed, armed patrol officers in radio equipped patrol vehicles. When an alarm activation signal is received, an armed patrol officer is dispatched to your home or business to investigate the alarm and remains on scene documenting any and all activities until relieved by local law enforcement.

The nominal charge for this service can be included in your monthly monitoring charge and will eliminate false alarm response fees (usually $85.00 or more) imposed by local law enforcement.

Our Central Station was built to stringent specifications. It means that the Central Station has been built to comply with a set of standards so rigid that the number of stations in the United States that have met these standards is few.

These are a few of the Security Standards we have met:

  1. The Central Station area must be constructed to withstand three hours of direct fire from all sides, including the roof. (Our building is constructed of solid concrete walls and floors five inches thick. The roof is a Class-A fire roof six layers thick.)
  2. All access doors are steel fire doors that are electronically controlled from inside the station.
  3. The station is fully monitored inside and out by closed circuit television cameras.
  4. All phone lines are underground to prevent them from being cut.
  5. The equipment and A/C power have a back-up system and power supply.

All of this was done to assure our customers the highest level of security available.
