Management
Direct contact with our local area manager can be achieved at any time
of urgency via our 24-hour Central Station. This assures a timely and
decisive response to matters needing immediate attention and merits
an edge over larger companies which tend to require layers of management
and time-consuming processes before action is taken. If our customers
need something accomplished, the decisions and resources come quickly.
Additionally, management maintains regular and pro-active contact with
our client - assigned liaison. This preventative communication will
provide a security program custom-tailored to meet the continually evolving
needs of our customers.
Our multiple unit
roving field supervision team with armed capability is unchallenged
in the industry. This permits a high volume of post inspections per
week, builds an overall security presence, and stifles any opportunity
for stationary officers to deteriorate in the performance of their duties.
Alertness and performance are regularly monitored via these random unannounced
checks of our security officers. This supervision insures our customers
that they are receiving the "extra measure of service" for which
they are paying.
It is through this
process of close supervision that we are able to maintain a constant
line of communication with our people in the field, site management,
and the home office. Each client knows that every person within the
organization is personally involved in assuring that the best quality
of service is delivered.
Each of our offices
maintains a management core with experience in loss prevention, customer
satisfaction, public relations, and vulnerability assessment. This experience,

Personnel
We have in excess of 800 highly-trained and capable employees company
wide. This assures our ability to adequately staff your project, including
emergency coverage, no matter what situation may occur.

ability to keep turnover at a minimum. This low turnover has allowed
Boyd & Associates to remain consistently selective though our screening
process. This screening includes: pre-employment polygraph examinations,
pencil-and-paper psychological testing, Mach V drug abuse screening,
DMV, credit, employment history searches and a thorough on-line computerized
criminal history investigation that includes a local six-county check
for misdemeanor and/or felony convictions. Roughly one in ten applicants
meet our screening criteria. Each applicant's file is reviewed by our
Personnel Department to ensure their acceptability prior to the final
review by our management personnel.
Our comprehensive

Training
Our training program is tailor-made to suit the needs of our clients.
It is a repetitive program which breeds strong comprehension in both
site specifics and the modern approach to security.
Our training process,
which combines classroom, audio-visual programmed instruction, and on-the-job
training, spans the entire scope of knowledge required to effectively
and efficiently function as a security officer in any environment.
Basic training begins
with classroom instruction on the fundamentals of security such as the
powers of arrest, emergency or advanced response, first aid, CPR, interpersonal
relationships, report writing and safety. On-site specific or advanced
training encompassing our client's critical needs (i.e. site rules,
regulations and procedures) is then meticulously covered. A series of
scenarios is enacted to better prepare our security personnel. This
is helpful in stressing the specificity of a customer's particular security
guidelines.
